Gaoro was established in 2001 by Mr. Andrew Chu and his father Mr. Chu Chao as a tribute to the legacy of the grandfather. Dating back to the 1920s, the family journey began with a modest roadside shop and a fried-dough twist (sànzǐ) workshop, eventually leading to the founding of the Dagong Cigarette Factory — generations committed to building real industry. The third generation carried this spirit into food technology. In 2018, the fourth generation, Mr. Tony Chu, joined the company.
